Rounding The Bases, Inc.
Rounding The Bases is a recovery oriented program, the core of which centers around training, education, employment, and housing.
The target population is adult persons age 18+. We are dedicated to improving the lives of our clients, one client at a time.
This is Carl Byron Baty, Executive Director of Rounding The Bases, Inc. Please be advised that my wife has not been a part of Rounding The Bases since her resignation in October of 2022. She embezzled $100,000 and filed a restraining order to avoid detection thus making me homeless and limiting my access to a computer. I was awake and decided to check my page on Facebook from my phone.
I trust that this deception has not harm my relationship with each of you I have always tried to be as transparent as possible with any of our partners, associates, and clients.
I have filed a police report, but have delayed pressing criminal charges in hopes that I could avoid a prison term for her I filed for divorce and her lawyer sent the W-9 as part of her financial statement proving the embezzlement. I called her attorney and asked if she planned to speak with her about the embezzlement and thanked her for providing proof, as required by law. We have a hearing on Monday, and hopefully her lawyer has talked some sense into her. The judge at the hearing on the Motion to Vacate the restraining order allowed me to explain my side of the fictitious story and her left didn't say a word, but remained after the judge released her and madeit a point to advise me of the hearing on Monday. It would appear that we're on the same page. A settlement offer on the divorce that would also cover the embezzlement could eliminate the need to prosecute. That appears to me to be the only way out.
I apologize for the time of communication and for any inconvenience this has caused.
I so thank God for allowing me to see this, and I probably need to do some forensic accounting. I thank you for understanding.

We had to move one of our classes. This is the community room of what is now Rockland Trust on Talbot Avenue.
We've been doing this for a while.
God thank you!
We haven't posted for a while, so you probably don't know about the food pop-up. Since January 9, 2023 we've been having the pop-up at the Union Capital Boston Office. Loving Spoonfuls delivers every Monday. If Monday happens to be a holiday, deliveries are made on Tuesday. Check out this week's donation.
We haven't posted in a while. All of our partners have continued with awesome donations. The last four weeks we served 439, 332,
165, and 237 households. Take a look at today's donation from Loving Spoonful's.
It's too good to be true! Check out the surprise donation this morning from Allendale Farm; five crates of summer squash, two crates of cucumbers and a crate of garlic sprouts. Thanks Mike!
We have a new member to our family of donating farms. Moose Hill at the Boston Nature Center made this donation. Thank you for your donation, and welcome to the family
The Food Project donated the green crates of mixed vegetables, the orange bins of kale, and the five flats of tomatoes.
Allendale donated all of the black crates you see in the background, the black crate in front and several hidden boxes of produce. The crate of milk in glass bottles was a special treat and surprise for our seniors.
We served 367 households this week. I dare say that's a new best for us.
Another week, another great donation from Allandale Farm.
On June 29, 2022, we picked an unexpected mid-week donation from the food project. We served another 43 households. We're over 300 households for the week and still counting.
On June 27, we received another huge donation from Loving Spoonful's. That donation served 281 households. This partnership is going to be great!
On June 25, 2022, We received a donation from UFI to accompany the donation from Allandale and The Food Project to support an activity for Universal Unitarian Urban Ministry. The seniors from Marcus Garvey Apartments were in attendance.
Later that day we received a donation from Moose Hill Farm at Boston Nature Center. We thank you for your generosity.
On June 24, 2022 we again received generous donations from Allendale Farm and Dudley Greenhouse.
On June 24, 2022 we received generous donations from Allandale Farm and Dudley Greenhouse.
Yesterday was a banner day for donations. Look at what Danielle and The Food Project delivered. Absolutely awesome! Once again, thanks for coming through!
We're in the middle of distributing Allandale Farm's donation. We received two crates of each vegetable pictured, except for the bagged salad greens. As of this posting we've served 18 households, with bags packed for eight more families, and a little less than a crate of each left. Our seniors and families thank you.
On June 13th, Loving Spoonful's surprised us with an unexpected donation. Check out the pictures! We served 62 households. Your donation goes a long way in helping fill the gap created when Amazon dropped us.
On June 10, The Food Project made a delivery to us. Please overlook our forgetting to take pictures. Our records show that we served 30 households. Thanks for helping to fill the gap.
With Amazon dropping us, our Board Chair solicited a donation from the Trustees. Thanks for your generous donation. They even delivered to us. The Pilot looks kind of full doesn't it?
I forgot to mention, this donation served 39 households.
Amazon informed us today that they have too many donation partners and we were being dropped. This is the last donation,
May 25, 2022.
