The POAH Communities family is devastated by the news of Mr. Beard's passing. Our heart breaks for his family, friends, and the community he served as a pastor, neighbor, and mentor.

As a professional in his role as Regional Director of Facilities, he embodied the values he lived by in the other aspects of his life; he was dedicated to the people he served, his co-workers, and the opportunity to make residents feel at home.

We thank the greater Chicago community for their prayers in the search for Mr. Beard and we hope the many messages of love and strength will comfort his family and everyone he touched throughout his life.
