Get Konnected! recently held an inspiring and engaging DEI Forum hosted at the JFK Library and featured industry leaders discussing the importance of diversity, equity and inclusion in corporate America. The event marked the 16th anniversary of Get Konnected! and was centered around founder Colette Phillips' insightful book, "The Includers."
During the panel discussion, CEO and C-suite executives, who were featured in "The Includers," shared powerful stories highlighting the crucial role that leaders and allies play in upholding DEI as a core value within organizations. Their experiences served as a reminder of the impact that inclusive leadership can have on fostering a diverse and equitable workplace.
In addition to the engaging panel, Get Konnected! also took the opportunity to recognize 12 exceptional DEI allies from the Boston community. These local leaders exemplify the commitment to driving positive change and creating a more inclusive environment for all.
Over the next few days, Get Konnected! will be featuring these remarkable individuals, allowing them to share their perspectives on the significance of DEI in their own words. Our first featured ally is Lou Antonellis of the IBEW, whose dedication to diversity and inclusion is truly commendable.
Stay tuned as we continue to spotlight these outstanding DEI champions and celebrate their efforts to make a difference in our workplaces and communities. Let's work together to build a more inclusive future for all! 🌟
