Clear Creek Update: The ice is off and the fishing is heating up. The canyon is sitting around 110 CFS and a little off color, but that isn’t bothering the fish. A lot of dry fly eats on the micro chubby in size 16 and parachute adams in size 18-20. Running a dry dropper with the micro chubby and a small midge like a zebra midge or poison tung was very effective. Stop by the shop so we can hear you up!

Due to the snowfall last night, we will postpone the creek cleanup. With 6 inches on the grass, poor visibility in the creek , and snow still coming down, we will push the creek clean up to a date with better weather. Should have alternate date by this Monday.
Still here if you want to come get your license or cast a new Scott rod!
Boulder Creek has been firing off lately! The dry dropper rig has been very effective recently, with a couple of big dry eats. Try using some midge patterns in 18-20 like a zebra midge or poison tung hung under a micro chubby in size 16. A lot of small dry fly action as well on size 20 Parachute Adams and BWOs. Stop by the shop to get the most up-to-date information on Boulder Creek!
