We’re excited to share the great progress being made at our renovation project for a law firm in downtown Boulder. The space is now flooded with natural light, allowing our client team to visualize how impactful the full height glass partitions will be, and how the natural daylighting will create a comfortable, engaging and attractive environment for all employees. The ongoing framing and decorative soffits in the specialty areas are taking shape, for an end of year completion.

Boulder Valley School District culinary students gained early access to their future home. When this test kitchen is complete, students will have access to front end appliances to hone their skills on. The test kitchen will feature four student stations and one master suite. Students will follow along with their instructor via a video display system at each station that ties back to the master suite.

We’re thrilled to play a role in contributing to affordable housing! At PEH ARCHITECTS, we believe that everyone deserves a place to call home. Our latest project in Boulder is a prime example of this belief in action. In collaboration with the city of Boulder, Boulder Valley School District and Habitat for Humanity, we’ve designed a new manufacturing building that will play a crucial role in producing affordable housing. This facility will house the construction of affordable manufactured homes that will be delivered to developments across the Front Range, starting with Boulder.

Our dedication goes beyond just creating budget-friendly solutions; we focus on crafting spaces that are beautiful, functional, and designed with the community in mind. This innovative building represents a significant step toward making quality housing accessible and inclusive for all. We are proud to be working with a prominent law firm to renovate and consolidate their existing offices in the heart of downtown Boulder. The clean details such as full height glass partitions with custom privacy film, custom wood detailing, bold graphic wall coverings, and specialty lighting throughout the space will bring a refreshing sense of renewal throughout one of Boulder’s original law firms. A folding Nana Wall system in the new employee lounge will allow for a seamless and wide transition to an existing underutilized exterior patio boasting panoramic views of the Flatirons, the downtown corridor, and beyond to the iconic skyline of the University of Colorado Boulder campus.

Reflecting on the progress of our Maintenance Building and Equipment Building at the Ute Creek Golf Course in Longmont, Colorado. It's incredible to see how far it has come since breaking the ground! Two pre-engineered metal buildings designed to fit within the surround rural/farm aesthetic will provide spaces for maintenance and office/break functions for golf course staff, along with equipment storage.

A heartfelt congratulations to our dedicated project team, whose commitment and hard work have transformed this vision into a reality. The completion is scheduled for late this summer; we're eagerly waiting for the final result!

We are celebrating to honor all the women who ensure project success, assist in resolving technical design issues and dedicate time to advance the firm and its goals. We are thankful for the friends who listen without judgement, offer encouragement, and help us become the BEST TEAM as a firm with commitment and perseverance. On Thursday, Gov. Jared Polis paid a visit to The University of Colorado Boulder to celebrate the grand opening of our exciting new project - the first esports gaming lounge in the state. This accomplishment is a testament to the growth and progress of the gaming community, particularly our students. The positive exposure for our firm on the local news segment provided the opportunity to introduce our goals and services to the community.

Work has begun at Hirsh Precision Products! Demolition has been completed, new walls chalked on the floor, and most of the plumbing and electrical trenches are complete. Framing begins today!

The office of PEH ARCHITECTS shifted gears last week and moved from the comforts of the studio to on-site construction. We had the pleasure of volunteering with Habitat for Humanity at their Ponderosa project in Boulder.

Congratulations to the City of Black Hawk on the completion of the Gregory Plaza project! From concept design to the Grand Opening, it was an engaging, collaborative partnership with the City to create the central space for their new HARD (Historic Appreciation and Recreation Destination) District.

Enhancing curb appeal within the historic district and increasing dining capacity by providing additional dining and entry patio space to the historic Crook's Palace.

Steel er****on is well underway at the new Western Disposal Services Transfer Station , ,

Construction of the new Western Disposal Services facility is underway. The distribution of over 100,000 cubic yards of fill dirt, provided from local construction sites, is complete. The following photo shows the beginnings of the 220 foot long by 8 foot deep truck loading pit and ramp. The contractor, Wyatt Construction, has placed the sand oil interceptor and the two sump pumps (sanitary and storm) within the pit. PEH ARCHITECTS is honored to lead the design for the interior remodeling and structural rehabilitation of the University of Colorado’s 100-year old Mountain Research Station Dining Hall log cabin facility in western Boulder County. While Sun Construction has continued to lead construction activities through the threat of wildfire, wind, and blizzards, we must agree that the most exciting recent development is the installation of new energy-efficient windows, reinforcing and resealing of the existing logs, and insulation to keep the team warm during our ongoing site visits.
