World-renowned artist, conservationist, scientist and entrepreneur Guy Harvey, PhD., and Jessica Harvey, CEO, Guy Harvey Foundation, joined Bealls Inc. associates recently for an insightful session on marine science literacy and ocean conservation. Day two included an in-store meet-and-greet at the flagship Bealls Florida store in Bradenton. Bealls Inc. stores carry a wide array of Guy Harvey merchandise.

Congratulations to graduates of Bealls Emerging Leaders program!

A cross-functional training initiative for leaders from various departments, participants from corporate offices, the field, and distribution centers work with mentors, completing coursework over an eight month period. The curriculum is facilitated by senior leaders in different functional areas of the business and by experts in interpersonal leadership development.

Beall Emerging Leaders Class of 2024 was thrilled to spend time with clients at The Haven!

Bealls Emerging Leaders Class of 2024 just finished a session on marketing and eCommerce. Participants learned about the company’s strategies around marketing production, creative, digital, and guest strategy/loyalty. During the eCommerce session, they were introduced to Bealls eCommerce reporting, operations/fulfillment process, merchandising, and guest services. This year’s class is comprised of associates across numerous area of the business including technology, planning, human resources, logistics, merchandising, eCommerce, store operations, loss prevention, merchandise process, product development, finance, and real estate.

Bealls associates recently enjoyed a visit with clients of The Haven SRQ. Plenty of socializing, dancing, and a delicious lunch were part of the day. Thank you to , The Haven team and clients who made this time so special!

As part of their session with the Merchandise Process & Logistics Departments, Bealls Emerging Leaders participants learned about the company’s supply chain network and distribution center processing. Emerging Leaders is one of several professional development programs for Bealls associates that provides an in-depth look at key areas of operation for the retailer.

It's Global Recycling Day!

Did you know Bealls Inc started its first paper recycling program in 2000?

We are on a journey to find new, innovative ways to positively impact the environment, like our newest diversion program, incorporated in our corporate offices and distribution centers, focusing on diverting natural materials like wood, wood pulp (paper), cardboard, and metals away from landfills.

Thanks to artists from Howard High School class of 2024 AP Art in Macon, Georgia, bealls associates, guests, and the local community are enjoying cherry blossom murals at the 1625 Bass Road store in the North Macon Plaza Shopping Center. The mural is part of this year’s cherry blossom festival and the vision of bealls Central Georgia District Manager, Eri Carter.

“It happens that cherry blossoms are part of my Japanese ancestry and my son, Jieimi (Japanese for Jamie) is among Howard High’s AP art students which is why a mural at one of our area bealls is so special,” said Eri Carter, Central Georgia District Manager, bealls. “I’m also grateful that bealls leadership supports community outreach and our participation in local celebrations like Macon’s cherry blossom festival. We all feel that much more a part of this community.”

Our annual store operations regional meetings kicked-off in Bradenton today with events in Dallas and Atlanta next week. ‘We try to focus on ourselves.’ How Bradenton-based Bealls competes with big brands The company has plans to open 22 more stores this year.

Bealls recently hosted an impactful Assistant Store Manager Leadership Development experience.

Twenty-four Assistant Managers from both Bealls and Bealls Florida came together for this event, which focused on leadership development, career exploration, and alignment with our company’s vision and strategy. These leaders had the opportunity to engage in career discussions with Bealls President Tianne Doyle and Sr. VP of Store Operations Chris Collins.

Time was spent exploring the different areas of the company visiting the corporate offices, distribution and fulfillment centers, and photo studio. And rounding out the experience were training sessions focused on individual growth and development.

Bealls proudly supports the Women's Golf Association (WGA) Annual Tournament at Bradenton Country Club. More than 60 ladies persevered through some challenging cold and windy conditions at this year's event, marking its 40th year.

The tournament is a tribute to the memory of Lynda (Toppa) Beall, an avid golfer at the club during the 70's and 80's. Beverly Beall, Lynda's daughter and longtime member at BBC joined Krystel Beall, community outreach and philanthropy coordinator with Bealls Inc., to present awards and celebrate the annual tradition.

In a recent interview with Jim Jones of the Bradenton Herald, Bealls Inc. President Tianne Doyle shared insights on merchandise quality and value, touching on exclusive brands available at bealls and Bealls Florida. Jim mentioned the shirt he was wearing was a Bealls Florida purchase. You have exceptional taste, Jim!
