WASHINGTON STATE COMBAT VETERANS MOTORCYCLE ASSOCIATION CHAPTER 11-1
Sponsors and Contributors,
We are an Association of Combat Veterans from all branches of the United States Armed Forces who ride motorcycles as a hobby. Our mission is to support and defend those who have defended our country and our freedoms. Our focus is to help Veteran care facilities provide a warm meal, clothing, shelter, and guidance, or simply to say "Thank You" and "Welcome Home”. Our members range in age from young service members still serving on active duty to those who've long since retired. Our common ground is the love of motorcycling and all of us have served in harms way.
Washington State Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association consists of eight (9) chapters. 11-1 through 11-9 located throughout the State of Washington and supporting Washington Veterans Homes in Retsil, Orting and Spokane WA, as well as other non-profit organizations that directly support the needs of Veterans throughout the state.
Our chapter is solicits sponsorships and contributions for our two large fundraisers for the year: Annual “Bike Show”, and the Annual “ALL PATRIOTS RIDE”. Our goal for these events is to fundraise by collecting contributions to generate the income necessary to support several veterans’ projects and organizations. Examples of our annual support include facility repairs, providing for items that facilities do not have the funds to add to or replace (i.e. Outside patio furniture, TV’s for lounges, benches for bus stops, outbuildings for storage to prevent theft). Additionally, funds raised through these events are used to help veterans in desperate need or despair throughout Northwestern Washington.
