"I have been serving in the 6th-grade classroom at Fellowship since 2006. God has allowed me to see his huge blessings on these pre-teens over these past many years. Sure, there have been some tough days, tough kids, and difficult challenges. However, there have been more sweet moments of God showing up in their lives and inspirational moments when I get to see a student who finally “gets it.” My prayer has always been that these students grow closer to Christ and become more like him. It’s thrilling to be a witness when that happens.

But, to be completely honest, I feel a bit like a thief. While serving in the Learning Center and trying to pour into these girls and boys, I have to say that I think I get more out of it than they did. Spending time with them, thinking about them, getting out of myself, getting into the word, and collaborating with other great friends and teachers along the way has drawn me closer to the Lord and honestly has helped my spiritual walk. It is an awesome journey!

If you're considering serving, do not argue with yourself, do not debate the reasonableness of it all, and do not doubt yourself (or God). Just say, “Yes, I’m in.”

Many people who saw that logo for the first time when it was released over twenty years ago are still actively serving in various ministries across our church.
