Best zucchini bread recipe EVER! So… we were remiss in checking the garden while we were gone and ended up with huge zucchini. I just cut the seeds out and peeled and shredded it and voila! Truly, this is one of the best recipes I’ve ever tried with zucchini bread …. if you’re interested in the recipe, just comment below. We tried it without nuts, with nuts, and with cranberries and nuts and it’s all super delicious. Blessings from Mrs. Lynn and Farmer Larry . ❤️ ( the bread pan is a silicone Temu purchase. Love it!).

Easy to make crust and fresh blueberries mixed with sugar and corn starch. Tonight we’re going to top it off with vanilla ice cream. If you’d like this incredibly easy recipe, just let us know in the comments below. Blessings from the Fern Valley Farm kitchen. ♥️

Having fun in Florida. Got up early to drive 30 minutes into Tampa to visit the Thai Temple. Sunday mornings they have a Thai food market that serves as a charity for the temple. We arrived early and had time to relax and walk around the beautiful temple area right on the Palm River. It was absolutely the calmest place I’ve ever been. We got to watch several monks help set up in their beautiful Saffron robes. Lots and lots of volunteers making fabulous food. Larry and I tried fresh pad Thai noodles, beef noodle soup, shrimp rice paper rolls, egg rolls, delicious Thai tea, and coconut Jell-O, pumpkin custard for dessert eating outside in their beautiful garden. Afterwards we visited the temple.
Stunningly beautiful. What a wonderful experience! Blessings from Mrs. Lynn and Farmer Larry.

Another Fun day in Florida...spent the day in Sarasota with family seeing the sights. Visited Columbia restaurant ( yes, second time, different location!) In St. armonds Circle, a great restaurant and shopping area. Bought a wonderful recipe book, mango Balsamic vinegar for future dinner, and their famous 1905 salad dressing. Can't wait to try it out on our farm friends. Then headed to Salty Dog for seafood dinner. Both great places. Blessings from Lymn & Farmer Larry.

If you’re not familiar with Lee Asher, check him out at the Asher house. Incredible guy that is on a mission to rescue animals worldwide. www.theasherhouse.com

Yesterday was an exciting day here in Florida. We visited the Italian market in Saint Petersburg first thing in the morning ….wow ….and then in the afternoon we went to our little beach here on base at McDill. Air Force where we are camping just to sit and relax for a moment. Larry went in the water and guess what? Four gigantic MANATEES joined him. He was walking in the water with Maverick, a little boy who joined him when the manatees came over and started circling them. They had a chance to pet them. It was incredible. We joined him in the water to pet the manatees as they circled around our legs. Amazing, huge, gentle animals. They kept coming back over and over again. It was a once in a lifetime treat. Here’s the video. Check it out. It’s a little hard to see the manatees because the water was cloudy and there was seaweed, but you can still see their bodies as they go by. They were huge! Amazing day here in Florida. Blessings from Mrs. Lynn and Farmer Larry. ♥️

OMG-Absolute highlight of our trip so far. Today we’re in St Pete and first visit was to Mazzaro’s Italian market! Oh my goodness! I thought we would be here for hours. Fresh pasta, meats, cheeses, WINES, and a deli to die for. We had to take a break in the middle of shopping to eat some lunch so we have enough energy to keep shopping lol SO MUCH FUN! People were wonderful! Fresh cheese, wine, pasta, lunch and we’re going back for more. So much fun if you are in Saint Pete, you must must must stop by here. Blessings from Mrs Lynn & Farmer Larry on vacation in Florida ♥️

Enjoying our trip to Florida. Yesterday we went to the beautiful beach in Clearwater and enjoyed a relaxing morning at the beach before the weather went to 92°. Yes, sunny and hot here but we’re having a good time. Today we’re off to Tampa to the Cuban section, Ybor City to eat at the famous Columbia restaurant. (thank you for the suggestion, Arlene!) and learn more about the history of Tampa. More photos to follow. Blessings from Mrs. Lynn and Farmer Larry . ♥️
