Safety and sanctity is our main focus at Fort Ringo. We will not tolerate a visitor, or their significant other disrupt that for anyone.
Today we had a boyfriend of one of our visitors threaten to assault Mr. Ringo when he was informed of Fort Ringo guidelines. The subject revved his worn out early 2000s Chevy Tahoe in the parking lot, attempting to do a rather pathetic burnout. The subject then exited the vehicle, becoming irrational and belligerent. His threats and vulgar statements echoed throughout our complex, disrupting not only visits taking place, but other businesses.
We chose to cancel the visit as it was simply not safe for anyone at the facility while either party was on site.
The subject then pulled into the front parking lot where waiting Custodial parties were parked to allow their children in for their respective visits, some of the children waiting were toddlers who unfortunately had to witness such horrendous behavior.
Both the visitor and her boyfriend engaged in yelling and threatening Fort Ringo Staff members. Several times Mr. Ringo instructed them to leave, they refused, continuing to berate and threaten Mr. Ringo. Bryan Police were called and did an outstanding job removing both individuals from our facility.
This violent, vile behavior will not be tolerated. The safety and sanctity of everyone's visit should never be disrupted like this in such a despicable way. Both parties were issued Criminal Trespass warnings and banned for ever participating in Fort Ringo programs.
22nd and 23rd are the 3rd weekend. Remember Payment due today by 9pm
