Grants in Action!

In October of this past year, the Bryan ISD Education Foundation took its Prize Patrol to all Bryan ISD campuses to deliver a total of $100,000 in teacher grants!! As we continue to take a look at how some grant winners used their grant money, we wanted to share with you how they are making a difference. Take a look!

Bryan High School culinary teacher, Tenika Williams received a full grant that she used to purchase new KitchenAid mixers for each kitchen in her classroom, cake decorating kits for each kitchen, and 3 sets of cookie cutters. Having adequate and up to date equipment allowed her students to be successful in local and state competitions as well as helping prepare desserts for district catering events.

Ms. William's favorite part about working in Bryan ISD "is the support from my admin staff as well as the Education Foundation...With their support, I can supply my students with engaging lessons that they can successfully use forever!"

This year's Presenting Sponsor for the 2024 Bryan ISD Education Foundation Hometown Reunion is PBK, a multidiscipline architecture & engineering firm. The Foundation is extremely grateful to PBK for helping to help sponsor this year's event!
