Garbage collection changes for this week. Thursday's garbage collection will be picked up a day early tomorrow (Wednesday) and Friday's garbage will be picked up Monday (November 27). Please have all garbage out by 7 AM.

Update from Bucyrus City Schools reguarding todays events.
Good Afternoon,
Bucyrus City Schools would like to thank all students, parents, staff, and law enforcement for their efforts, actions, and patience this morning.
Shortly before the beginning of the school day at the Secondary Building, the administration was alerted to a social media message that threatened the safety of students and staff. Law enforcement was informed, investigated and with all threats taken seriously, it was decided to lockdown the school and initiate an evacuation. Within 40 minutes, all students were evacuated to a safe location and by 9:50 all students were safely released to their parents or guardian.
Both the elementary and secondary buildings have been searched by law enforcement including K9 units, and our district has been deemed safe and we will resume regular classes tomorrow. There will be extra patrols on both campuses tomorrow.
This evening's practices/activities have been cancelled.
Students with car keys in the building can pick up their keys this afternoon between 2:00 and 2:30 in the high school office, anything else left in the school will be picked up when school resumes tomorrow.
Please discuss this situation with your child, urge them to see something, say something, and assure them their safety is always our number one priority.
