Did you hear Birthday Bells today!? That’s probably because it’s our Founder’s Birthday!!
She sacrifices much for our Co-op and works quite literally around the clock making sure the needs of our families and staff are met to the best of our ability as an organization.
This Co-op was born in her heart out of the desire to advocate for children, to make sure they know how loved they are by God / by those around them and to help them learn their own unique gifts and talents.
“For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of the body, being many, are one body; so also is Christ.”
- 1 Corinthians 12:12 -

A Throwback to Holy Week!
See it/Build it class - For Holy Week we made Jesus' Crown of Thorns using braided clay and toothpicks. Students were told that they could remove toothpicks at home when they made a sacrifice or did a good deed for Jesus. This project was done with Curriculum Class and 5+.
Getting through many wonderful photos from our Co-op Year!
Tangram Teams
Students were given Tangram shapes to build animals. They were on Kindergartener + 1st Grader teams.
Sometimes they were paired with same grade depending on # of students in class that day, but K was always paired with an older student to help solve the tangram puzzle.
These were challenging but they did very well.

This week, I (Mrs. Klein) happened to be in the right place at the right time and was able to experience a snip it of Mr. Szczygiel's Science Class going outside for a fun experiment.
Elephant's toothpaste is a foamy substance caused by the rapid decomposition of hydrogen peroxide(H2O2) using potassium iodide(KI) or yeast and warm water as a catalyst. How rapidly the reaction proceeds will depend on the concentration of hydrogen peroxide.
Stay tuned for a video clip!
Last Wednesday, our Kindergarten Entrepreneurship class held a Lemonade Stand to close the year!
During the year, the students have been learning the concepts of being an entrepreneur and how the economic system works. Providing goods and services to the community and producing a product to sell, gave our consumers a refreshing treat on a warm afternoon!
Students of our Italian class were filling the shape of Italy with rice as an introduction of the geography of the Country.
What fun connecting literature with activities!
Mrs. Sacilowski explains their assignments:
"Kindergarten and 1st graders: We read the Little Red Hen and learned about lending a helping hand and then made Handprint Hens.
Grades 5+: See it/Build it class (Read ABC's of American Homes). Students were to pick 3 favorite homes from the book or come up with their own idea. One student chose a Hotel. He started building but when others finished their homes before him, he recruited "workers" to finish his building. He then became the boss instead of the builder which made him quite happy. Next pictured are other homes built by 5+ students: Mansion with helicopter landing pad, a Limo Mansion and a third style Mansion."
The Orta family recently joined our Co-op. Tragically, their grandmother's house burned down last week. Please pray for the family and consider making a donation. They would be so grateful for any assistance! Please help spread the word about this fundraiser! Even if you cannot donate, a share through social media is extremely helpful. Thank you so much!
