Our Orchard Park office will be moving to a new location and we are excited to be sharing space with Absolute PT and Absolute Fitness and Wellness! We will be located at 4 Centre Drive, Suite G in Orchard Park right off Big Tree Road at the 219 exit! That is only 1.5 miles from our current location. The office will be closed on Friday 2/18 for the move and we will be back open on Monday 2/21/22. Here is a map and picture of the location.

1. What does a physical therapist do?

2. How long will I need PT?

That depends on the reason you’re seeking care. We’ll work together to develop a personalized treatment plan that takes into account your specific needs and allows you to return towards your goals as efficiently as possible.

3. What will happen during my first physical therapy appointment?

At your first appointment, your physical therapist will discuss your health history, reasons for seeking care, and goals. The PT will then complete a thorough initial evaluation, determining the source of your pain. We will then discuss the steps needed to assist you in meeting your goals.

4. Does physical therapy hurt?

Physical therapy shouldn’t be painful, but you may experience some temporary soreness and discomfort. If you ever feel pain during a session, immediately let your therapist know. We do not treat under the “no pain, no gain” ideology and typically focus on pain free motion with gradual increases towards full mobility.

5. Do I need a physician referral before making a PT appointment?

No. Every state now has some form of direct access to physical therapy, which means you can visit us first.

6. Which insurances do you accept?

We accept Workers’ Compensation, No fault coverage, and are in-network with most major insurance companies. If you have specific questions about your particular plan, please give us a call. We’d be happy to verify your benefits!
