The Buzz is real! Introducing Robby's Bass Buzz Honey Bourbon! This resplendent spirit was distilled and aged entirely at our distillery in Buffalo and finished with locally sourced honey for a hint of sweetness that's just right at 80 proof. The bourbon is "bass-aged" after being vibrated by the soundwaves of electric bass guitar being played live in our rick-house. This is real rock-n-roll bourbon!

We're proud to release this bourbon in collaboration with and support thier mission through a portion of proceeds from bottle and merch sales. We're also accepting donations of instruments at the release party! Bring anything you can carry to Buffalo Distilliing Co and Music Is Art will get those instruments into the hands of kids who need them.

Robby's Bass Buzz is being released Tuesday, July 30, 5-9pm at Buffalo Distilling Company, 860 Seneca St in Buffalo. Come out and support Music Is Art, grab a bottle or two along with some rock-n-roll merch. Live music, food truck, craft cocktails, local beer, wine and plenty of non-alcoholic options.

We are loaded with live music this weekend at BDC! Stop in for a One-Foot-C**ktail, Local Beer, or wine and catch some of the area's most talented performers. Outside food always welcome!

Start the weekend early on Thursday with the cerebral indie stylings of Bryan Dubay. Bryan's music has an ethereal quality to it that will pair perfectly with a cocktail as you relax in our tasting room or out on the patio.

Friday brings long-time BDC regulars Dozo My Lady to the Tasting Room stage. They are an exciting trio performing an eclectic mix of music focusing on jazz but equally proficient in pop, and oldies favorites. Voted the best jazz and pop group by the JazzBuffalo readers poll. This Buffalo New York trio was formed by Carolyn Lansom (vocals, percussion) and Dave Lansom (upright bass, vocals) in 2010 while Dave’s service in the Navy brought them to live in Japan. With the addition of Greg Amato (guitar, vocals, melodica) in 2013, the group evolved into a consistently engaging, versatile act that often pleases audiences across Western New York. Dozo performs every 2nd Friday of the month at BDC.

Saturday's matinee show features Sweet William & Fritz, who will dazzle you with piano, drums and vocals, performing an eclectic mix of rock, pop, standards and oldies. The perfect upbeat accompaniment for whiling away a Saturday afternoon.

Saturday night will excite you as Watch Your Step rocks the Trophy Room Stage with an electrifying blues-rock sound! These guys are well known on stages across Western New York and we are psyched to have them at BDC for the first time. Guaranteed to get you movin and groovin!

Rev up your weekend at BDC! Our summer menu is in full effect featuring FROZEN One-Foot-C**ktails, the patio is open, and we've got some exciting Live Music on tap.

Greg Klyma and Judd Sunshine roll in Friday to delight you with songs and stories from decades of touring and recording. Klyma is known for his energetic live performances and clever storytelling lyrics that deliver entertaining rides through hilarity, reflection, passion and loss. Buffalo-born, now Boston-based, Klyma is a scholar of rock ’n’ roll and country music. His latest album, “Singing For My Life,” shows a songwriter who has matured and whose craft continues to evolve. Klyma change is real.

Saturday brings a double-header with the duo Alexander Butler performing the matinee show. This fresh pair brings a mix of pop, rock, and vocal standards to the Tasting Room stage in a stripped down, acoustic style.

Americana stalwarts Flatbed rock the Trophy Room stage for the evening show. Flatbed is a group ripe with harmonies, twang guitar, and country-rock rhythm. Their original songs and choice covers are accentuated by the prowess of their musicianship and the emotion of their vocal performance. Sit back, sip some whiskey and revel in their rich sound - you may even be inspired to get up and dance!

Our Story

Buffalo Distilling Co.

We are Buffalo, NY's First and Finest Bourbon & Krupnik Distillery using local grains, honey and apples. We support our local farmers, appiaries and growers!

Buffalo Distilling Co. originated in Buffalo's city limits in 1895 led by the ambitious Gustav Fleischmann. Buffalo was going electric and was a top 10 city in the nation and a well known city world wide.

Spirits were high and Buffalo Distilling Co. made some of the best.

By 1918 the temperance movement and impending prohibition made the legal production of liquor unprofitable and eventually unsustainable for the Buffalo Distilling Co.

During that time many makers headed out to the hills to do what they do.

Buffalo Distilling Co. formally started again in the hills outside the city limits on our "whiskey farm" where we stoked the coals nearly 100 years later to proudly bring you the finest hand crafted Bourbon and Brandy and the re-birth of the original Buffalo Distilling Company.

We are licensed makers and we ferment and distill every drop we produce.

WARNING: If your favorite new brand does not say "Distilled by" somewhere on the bottle, there is a good chance that brand does not really make their spirits. Beware of crafty "crafted by" and "bottled by" producers.

Our spirits are hand made in small batches using the best natural ingredients Western New York farmers and growers offer - twice distilled and bottled in our Distillery in Buffalo's Larkinville neighborhood.

Bourbon Whiskey, Moonshine, Krupnik, Vodka and Brandy that capture the gritty cobble of 19th century Buffalo, a touch of Smoky Mountain magic and a fresh NYS Backwoods style - all in one bottle.

We have designed, engineered and built our own Pot Still and it is one of a kind - You will not find another distillery like ours or taste another whiskey like ours.
