In the wake of the tragedy that our community has recently experienced, here are 2 ways that you can provide support;
1. Give. Follow the link in the comments where you can donate funds that will go directly to support the families of fallen Burnsville Officers Paul Elmstrand, Matthew Ruge, and Paramedic Adam Finseth. You can also drop off non-monetary contributions at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Burnsville.
2. Pray. Pray individually and as groups to lift up everyone most directly affected by this situation. Also, consider attending the community-wide prayer vigil this Thursday, 7pm, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, led by faith leaders in Burnsville.

Twas’ the night before Christmas break,
and looking everywhere all around,
everything was quiet,
there was not a student to be found.
The lights in the classrooms were turned down low,
The doors were all shut, locked, and ready to go.
The snow started falling from the dark winter sky,
the moon shone brightly and stars twinkled high.
When out in the foyer there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the office to see what was the matter.
Away to the foyer I flew like a flash,
pushed open the doors and ran like a dash.
The glow of a light shone from up ahead,
I came to the place where the clatter had led.
When what to my wondering eyes did I see?
All of the teachers, foot-fancy and free.
Mrs. Edman was doing crosswords right there in the chair,
While Mrs. Peterson was napping, without even a care.
Miss Natalie, Miss Olivia, and Mrs. Rance played some cards,
While Mrs. Haight knit a scarf, which was really quite hard.
Mrs. Rose was painting her nails bright red,
and Miss Avery spent time reading instead.
Miss Hop and Mrs. Dunst drank tea by the tree,
and giggled and giggled and giggled with glee.
I laughed when I saw them, in spite of myself,
The light in their eyes, the warmth that I felt.
I spoke not a word, but turned back around,
and left those 10 teachers where they were found.
But I heard them exclaim, as I walked out of sight,
“Merry Christmas to all, may we shine Jesus’ light!”

Summer Camp ended today. The staff had just as much fun as the kiddos!
Our Summer Camp kids have been able to watch this event take shape. Today we went on a prayer walk and prayed for each department. It was absolutely priceless. Especially when Nora wanted to pray for the port-a-potties by our playground. 💕
Good morning, church family!
Today we are asking you to pray for our School-A-Palooza event. As we prepare to welcome about 1500 families (that's almost 3900 kids!), we are asking for some specific prayers for Saturday. Would you please join us as we ask our Heavenly Father to bless and protect our event?
❤️Please pray for the following❤️
🙏🏼For the safety of everyone involved
🙏🏼For God to cease winds that could prevent us from putting up tents, bounce houses, etc.
🙏🏼For Jesus to captivate the hearts of those that may not know Him.
🙏🏼For our community to feel the love of Christ through our deeds.
🙏🏼That any attempt of the enemy to plot evil against this event would be completely thwarted.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!❤️
Hope to see you soon! 🍋
