Good morning, Diggers! I know that you are probably looking forward to the weekend as much as I am. I just wanted to stop in and remind you that while you are making your weekend plans, be sure to include planning a safe ride home! Remember, Montana Tech has a Safe Rides program for Tech students.
Montana Tech students will be provided with free rides on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights from 8:00pm to 4:00am. The purpose of this program is to ensure you have a safe ride home when needed, it is NOT a personal taxi service. Please use the service for its intended purpose and don't abuse it.
This service is being provided through Mining City Taxi. You may see other taxi vehicles, but Safe Rides is exclusively through Mining City Taxi. If you use any taxi service other than Mining City Taxi, you are responsible to pay for that ride.
Any ride through Mining City Taxi between 8:00pm-4:00am Thursday-Saturday are FREE to Montana Tech Students, but you MUST present your Digger Card!
The phone number to call for a free ride is:
(406)-533-8230 or (406)-723-6511
These numbers are specifically for Tech students to use, so you will be better able to reach the taxi service through Mining City Taxi. PLEASE take advantage of this service being offered to you! Have fun and be safe!
