This Teacher Appreciation Day we want to thank all of our wonderful teachers at Mesa Grande Academy for all they do to guide and nurture our students. A special thank you to our Home and School for all their hard work in creating a brand new K-12 Teacher Workroom.

🚀✨ Our 6th graders just rocked Astro Camp! From experimenting with machines, gases, magnets, and rocketry to conquering the ropes course, our students were able to experience hands on learning in a fun, new environment🌟

Our Elementary students loved getting the chance to read with the National Honor Society and Jr. National Honor Society students today! 📚

Our band, choir and handbell groups are all packed up and ready to head out on the 2024 Music Tour 🎶

During the month of February our AVID Elective students participated in the AVID Write-Off, along with other AVID Elective students across Riverside County. This is a unit focused on developing WICOR (Writing, Inquiry, Collaboration, Organization and Reading) skills around a central theme. This year the topic was social media and how it affects students like them. One Site Winner from each grade level and two Honorable Mentions were recognized in a ceremony at Riverside City College on April 16. Congratulations to each of you!

Our art teacher, Mrs. U, took advantage of the beautiful day to allow her art students to draw inspiration from the nature and beauty that surrounds them. ✍️ 🎨 🗒️

Our elementary students had SO much fun participating in activities to earn pretzels and jelly beans. Thank you to all of our parent volunteers who made this such a fun event for our kids!

Our first graders had the opportunity to learn all about bones, how to keep bones healthy and how the bones heal when injured. A special thank you to Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Kofi Agyeman for spending time teaching our students!
