Aren’t these pieces by our Pop Artists spectacular!?!? Led by teacher Ashleigh, and assistant teacher, Kayleen, children in the Pop Artists created these gorgeous macrame necklaces with rose quartz, shells, obsidian & beautiful cyanotype totes, dyed by the sun 🌞. Well done Pop Artists! Do you think they should set up a shop???
The Creators, guided by lead teacher, Jordan, created these intricate assemblage art pieces. In monochromatic colors, each one becomes its own scavenger hunt of treasures. Perfect for a game of I SPY 🔎 🎨

Phoebe “Crazypants” Warner is a Boston-based interdisciplinary artist who has been creating murals, paintings, design, and illustration in the area for many years. Much of Phoebe’s work is inspired by hiking in the mountains, mindfulness, and cultivating community. Pheebz has extensive experience working with youth organizations and other community non-profits and specializes in collaborative art-making ⛰️✨💕🎨

Curtis Williams, A.K.A. Curtistic, is a Boston-based artist originally from Orlando, FL. He uses multiple mediums to express the breadth of his imagination, creating everything from vast cityscapes with giant robots and dinosaurs, to abstract paintings with vibrant colors and calligraphic line work. Several of Curtistic’s murals can be seen throughout Cambridge as well as the Greater Boston area 😍🤖🦖

Mattaya is an artist and muralist born and raised in Boston and currently living in Brooklyn, NY where she mentors youth artists as part of Artists for Humanity’s NYC studio. Over the past five years, Mattaya has created many colorful & vibrant large-scale murals around the Great Boston area and beyond. Her artwork can be described as “vibrant and fantastical imagery in which fiction and reality meet, meanings shift, and past memories fuse with the present and future.” Her murals touch on themes of connection, community, self-care, nature, and healing 🫶🏽💞🌱

Michael describes himself as a Jamaica-born, Boston-based freelance artist and visual story-teller. Over the past decade, Michael has illustrated children’s books, written and illustrated graphic novels, and created many exhibitions and murals. He has created several projects in collaboration with young people and includes the voices of youth and local communities in much of his work. In Michael’s words: “I don’t see myself as anything more than the typical artist who enjoys his craft and seeks to make an impact on someone’s life. With all that is going on in the world, I acknowledge that it is necessary to have a chorus of voices bringing light to what is important and what us as a people will always need: unity, justice, and love.”
