In “Maximize Your Summer for Fall Recruitment Success”, CodePath’s Career Services team will share their top tips for building your resume, experience, and skills over the upcoming summer regardless of whether you have an internship planned! We will cover ways we have seen students use this time to their advantage to position themselves for success in future recruitment cycles and how CodePath might play a role supporting you on this path with our courses and resources. Through the program, mentees will get paired up with an older LiFT member who either has experience working in the field that mentees are interested in or has extensive knowledge about that field.

After pairings have occurred, mentees will be able to get LiFT-sponsored coffee with their mentors. Additionally, there will be a brunch event with all mentees and mentors, including games and delicious food (date TBD).

Meet Elio Torres, our LiFT 2022–2023 Freshman Representative! 🎉

Elio is part of the Harvard College Class of 2026, and he studies Government, with a secondary in Economics!

Elio joined LiFT because “throughout high school, [he] worked closely with the New York City Council on policy work, where [he] navigated social policy issues and helped pass a bill that expanded street vendor permit access in our city. Having worked with a largely Hispanic, undocumented population in New York City, [he wants] to continue to merge [his] interest in policy, law, and consulting with [his] identity as a Latino male. Harvard LiFT ushers [him] in that direction.”

[He] hopes to serve as a mentor for other Latinxs, especially those who don’t know much about Consulting (because neither did [he]).”
