While hosting parents attend to food, friends, and children, it only takes a few seconds for a child in the swimming pool to require assistance . . . SwimVerse instructors are certified in CPR,AED/First Aid and Lifeguarding.
Hello swim parents, trying to keep my 2024 Instructors working as much as possible, please consider employing a lifeguard for any summer swim parties you plan. If you are invited to a swim party for kiddos, send the included image to encourage the hosts to hire a lifeguard.
Jake worked the Offenbach party and is a stellar guy, who did an assist at their party.
Another client in San Mateo had a pool party the day before I began lessons at his pool. He had a lifeguard hired, yet an ambulance had to be called to resuscitate a child discovered floating face down in the deep end.

After reading of this tragedy, I visited this apartment complex three times to offer my Aqua-Guards Swimming Safety and Rescue program to residents for free . . . residents were interested but the manager said No.

The reason I have recently established my drowning prevention program as a business, Aqua-Guards Swimming Safety & Rescue program for children, is to educate and empower children to take action when experiencing or witnessing difficulty while in a swimming environment.

While children ages 1–4 have the highest drowning rates, teens are the second most likely to drown . . . and 80% of all drowning victims are male.

In California, drowning is a leading cause of injury-related deaths among children under the age of five. Each year, near-drowning incidents result in life-long disabilities. The Department of Developmental Services (DDS) and the Drowning Prevention Foundation continue to raise awareness on this issue, and remind parents and caregivers that drowning is preventable.
