hosted its first comp of the year at Steamer Lane. It was a historic event—first ever bodysurf comp at this iconic surf break, the swell was pumping, and all the bodysurfers were charging! It was an honor for Capitola Surf & Paddle to support and be apart of this event!

Had a grand time at the 39th annual comp this past weekend! Thanks for another great event, stoked we could be apart of it!

This model, the Butterknife is a personal favorite. Super versatile in wee ☺️waves to woahhh 😲waves. Knifey carves and holds well at the nose too!

Hi y’all!

We are Katy and Caleb! We are super stoked to have had the torch passed down from Steff and Jason last spring as the new owners of Capitola Surf and Paddle.

Yes, we are a year overdue on introductions…better late than never!

I spent much of my childhood here at Cap surfing and doing Junior Guards. I’m an avid ocean frolicker who enjoys activities like surfing, boogie boarding, bodysurfing and snorkeling. (She also likes naps and eating new foods)

Caleb is a bit more far flung from the land down under the land down under. Though kiwis can’t actually fly, Caleb has spent much of his life in the air as a skydiver and pilot. When grounded he too loves to be in the sea!

His accent is the entirety of our marketing team…perhaps I’ll pitch in with some social media engagement so we are a worthwhile follow!

And hopefully our content will inspire y’all to spend less time on the screen and more time playing outside!
