A child's reading ability is a critical predictor of EDUCATIONAL and LIFELONG success. Students must have EVERY opportunity to gain and strengthen this skill 💪, and teachers must be equipped and empowered in the teaching of reading to best support their students. 🫶

As a district, we have adopted a new reading curriculum per the Read to Succeed Act and the Caring for Kids Foundation is helping to purchase reading materials for our 4th and 5th-grade students! 📚📚📚

Mrs John’s wanted to expand her AP Geography students’ opportunity to learn about current world statistics and demographics! She used her grant to replace text books that were more than 10 years old! Thank you Mrs. John’s and Thank you CFK donors who make it possible.

Love seeing these 2nd graders make stronger connections in Mrs. Kelsey Myers’ classroom! She used her grant to expand instructional opportunities through Osmo systems.
