Forgiving someone doesn't mean letting them off the hook. It means releasing yourself from the poison of holding that hurt and turning over the outcome to God. Forgiveness frees YOU.
This Friday we'll be talking more about Forgiveness. Join us!
Step Studies start tonight!
7pm-830pm (child care provided)
What's a Step Study? And why would I go?
Celebrate Recovery is a forward-looking ministry. Rather than wallowing in the past or dredging up and rehearsing painful memories over and over, CR focuses on the future. Regardless of what has already happened, the solution is to start making wise choices now and depend on Christ’s power to help us make those changes.
A Step Study is a personal journey through each of the 12 Steps of Celebrate Recovery in a confidential group. The step study is where we get into the heart of the issue. This is where the true healing from life’s hurts, hang-ups, and habits occur.
Everyone can benefit from attending and completing this study. This self evaluation is enlightening and freeing for those who choose to participate.
The material was written in such a way to bring you closer to God through the recovery process. We believe that all of life’s hurts, habits, and hang -ups can be dealt with through this one curriculum.
What are Hurts, Habits, and Hang-Ups?
Hurts – The feeling of being hurt is an emotional reaction to another person’s behavior or to a disturbing situation (abuse, abandonment, codependency, divorce, relationship issues, grief, distress, etc.).
Habits – A habit is an addiction to someone or something (alcohol, drugs, food, gambling, s*x, shopping, smoking, etc).
Hang-Ups – Hang-ups are negative mental attitudes that are used to cope with people or an adversity (anger, depression, fear, or unforgiveness).
Any hurt, habit, or hang-up can cause instability in your life. CR AND step Studies are the place to get closer to God as He helps you unpack and heal from those things in life which hold you back, chain you down or distract you from the fullness God has for you!

Hey everybody! 8-10 people this Saturday are needed to help set up and clean up for Mary Anderson’s memorial reception. Mary and her daughter Amy have been CR Connection members since the beginning, and we help our Forever Family when needed! Four people to set up at probably 9:30, and four people to clean up at probably 1:00 would be great. Just comment below and let me know what you can do, thanks! 💜💜 from The Glue.
