Mt. Zion Preschool is holding a food drive. We will be collecting nonperishable items such as canned goods, peanut butter, jelly, Mac n cheese boxes, pasta, pasta sauce, apple sauce, juice boxes, crackers or any other nonperishable item you would like to donate. All donations will go to Must Ministries in Canton. The deadline for sending in your donations will be Thursday, March 18th. Thank you in advance for your generosity!!

REGISTRATION for our Transitional Kindergarten Program is now open for Fall 2021.
Transitional Kindergarten is designed to help children as they:
-Build confidence and self-esteem
-Develop small motor skills needed for writing
-Foster large muscle skills needed for balance
-Enhance skills such as sitting, listening, and following directions
-Increase vocabulary enrichment and memory skills
-Facilitate social interaction and encourages problem solving

Dear Parents,
Due to a surge in Covid in the Cherokee County schools and our community Cherokee County Schools have decided to close next week with a tentative reopening date of Tuesday, Jan. 19, following the observance of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (Monday, Jan. 18), which is a holiday for students and staff. Mt. Zion Baptist Church is suspending all children’s activities and adult Sunday School for the next two weeks. Because of the school closure our preschool would be short on staff due to teachers having to stay home with their own children making it difficult to provide a safe and productive learning environment for your children. At this time, we feel it is the wisest decision for everyone’s safety to close next week. We will reassess next week and let you know about future plans. Thank you for your understanding.

Day 3 of our Christmas Program. Such a precious time for our school. Blessed we were able to do it and still keep everyone safe.

We hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving Break! Now it’s full steam ahead until Christmas!! Just a reminder that December 1st is an early dismissal day for 4 day classes. Please pick up your child at 12. Thanks!
