Throwback to the day we took a leap of faith—14 years ago, these two baby faced women bought a flower shop with nothing but big dreams and zero experience! 🌸 Every time I see this photo, I’m reminded of the incredible journey we’ve embarked on. Many ask, ‘What’s it like being in business with your best friend?’ For us, it’s pretty magical, though we admit, we’re somewhat of an anomaly. It’s like a marriage; we’ve outlasted many and thrived through dedication, stellar communication, and knowing when to switch off work and simply enjoy our friendship.

We’re endlessly grateful for our phenomenal mentors, our dedicated staff, and a community that champions small businesses. Here’s to more years of friendship and flowers! 🥂

Nominate an active teacher from any of the Carlinville, Northwestern, or NorthMac School districts by commenting the teachers name and grade level they teach (this part is important as there can be several teachers with the same last name. Only entries with the grade level included will be counted)

For your nomination to count make sure you:

✅ "like” our Main Street Florist fb page

✅ ”like” and share this original post

✅ Comment with your nomination for your favorite teacher actively working in the Carlinville, Northwestern or NorthMac schools. Include their name and grade level they teach.

The teacher with the most nominations will win a tumbler/flower arrangement like the one pictured.
We will announce a winner on Friday, August 16th.
