An organization of volunteers dedicated to nurturing our communities! Carson Connected (CC) is a community-based organization that will serve the total person.
We will endeavor to provide training and education that will enable our clients to obtain employment, and receive training that will enhance their careers. A special emphasis will be on our military families, families with disabilities and protecting our children. As well, we endeavor to provide food and clothing to create stability and further self-reliance for overlooked segments of the populous in California and World.

Carson residents have had to go up against the union in the past and won. After hundreds of union members were bused in to rob us of our moratorium on oil drilling, I received calls from Carson residents stating they have never been so scared in their lives. We persevered and held the 200 earthquake causing oil wells from being drilled on the New Port Inglewood fault long enough to prove they were causing earthquakes. When I voted YES on Proposition 64 I voted to decriminalize ma*****na not to commercialize it. I did not vote for corrupt politicians to regulate the personal growing, and allow commercial ma*****na in Carson. Tonight Albert Robles is once again giving a bleeding heart speech on how the residents voted to allow the industry. I would like to hear from all of you. If you voted for Proposition 64 did you vote to allow council to require you to grow inside and that you to have your entire house inspected by the city? Did you vote to require a room set aside with lighting and air conditioning to grow your personal ma*****na?

I'm watching the voracious flames come from the Torrance Refinery and noticed there is a lot of red in the flames, more than normal. Does anyone know what would cause the flames from the refinery to be red?
