Moore County will not be sending out damage assessment teams today due to flooded roads throughout the county. We are ready to send the teams out first thing tomorrow, Tuesday, Sept 18.

The tax department links through GIS are back up and running. Thank you for your patience!
The tax department information is currently down. You will receive an error if you select the tax department link through the GIS website. This issue is being worked on and we hope to have the tax information back up soon!
We have made some changes to the GIS Interactive site. Please know that the GIS website no longer supports Internet Explorer versions 7 & 8.
Moore County GIS is aware that some are receiving an error when using our interactive GIS map. We are working to resolve this issue.
Did you know that US Census Bureau calculates population every 10 years? In July Moore County GIS will be working with the US Census to have the most complete address list for Moore County, for the 2020 Census.

GIS is moving the links to Tax Dept Property Record and soil report under More Info beginning March 2017. The same information will be provided, it is just moving to one location in March.

Topic: Report Damage Assessment from Hurricane Matthew
Moore County Public Safety is seeking information from Moore County residents and businesses that have suffered damage or losses due to Hurricane Matthew. We have damage assessment teams which will available to assess structural damage to residence and business; this does not include damage personal property (i.e. vehicles, boats, motorcycles). Please report damage from Hurricane Matthew by calling 910-947-4386 or email us at: [email protected]
Please be safe in the even that Hurricane Matthew hits North Carolina.

While there's certainly no reason to panic, now is the time to start preparing in the event that Hurricane affects our area. Check out these preparedness tips, and find more at weather.gov/hurricanesafety.
