I am excited to announce some important updates at Glint Salon! Beginning on September first, we will be implementing a price increase – the first in 2.5 years. I want to assure you that this adjustment reflects my dedication to enhancing your experience at my salon. Over the past months, I have expanded my range of services to better cater to your needs. With my recently acquired certification as a Hair Loss Practitioner and a also a recent scalp facial certification. These new qualifications signal my commitment to staying at the forefront of industry trends and ensuring that I provide you with the highest quality services possible. Exciting News!

We're excited to announce that as of June 1st, we will be relocating to a brand new space! Our new location will be on the ground level and conveniently close to our current spot. We can't wait for you to experience our fresh and upgraded salon environment.

When you turn onto Brady Ct. you will bear left and park at the end of the row of buildings.

Earth Day 🌎 is and has been EVERYDAY at Glint Salon. I learned about this program in late 2016 and by early 2017 I was enrolled and proud to be an early adopter to
These impact reports show what we have diverted from landfills YTD. What it does not show is the effort made to limit what is sent. Glint produces about three, 1 box shipments a year. As for the liquid recycling that is maybe a once a year item. Accurate measuring of color helps alleviate overuse. Sadly my largest recyclable is still plastics. ♻️
I have been dedicating some thoughts on how to get leaner in that area too. This Earth Day think of one area you could improve for the environment. All of us doing simple changes can make a wave for larger ones.

In this month's newsletter, we are excited to share with you that Glint Salon now offers scalp treatments and analysis appointments every Friday. This is a great opportunity for you to take care of your scalp health and address any concerns you may have. Additionally, we now provide the option to add on hair treatments when booking your service, allowing you to customize your salon experience. We also greatly appreciate any referrals you can provide, as we continue to grow our clientele. Lastly, I wanted to inform you that I will be going on vacation from Wed. 3/27- Wed 4/3. Scalp Analysis

I am excited to share some great news with you all! I am thrilled to announce that I am now a licensed Hair Loss Practitioner through the AMCA (American Medical Certification Association) and USTI (US Trichology Institute). This is an additional certification that I have obtained to further expand my expertise in the field of hair loss. With this new certification, I will now be offering specialized services focused on hair loss treatment and solutions. If you have been experiencing hair loss or thinning, I invite you to schedule an appointment with me on Fridays. This will be a separate extension of my current business and all consults and scans have their own scheduled appointment to give you the highest degree of attention.

During these appointments, we will begin with a thorough consultation, where we will discuss your medical history and any concerns you may have. I will then carefully examine your scalp to determine the root cause of the hair loss. Based on my findings, I will provide you with a range of personalized treatment options tailored to your specific needs. I am truly excited about this new endeavor and the opportunity it gives me to help individuals struggling with hair loss. Update: New Phone Number and Holiday Hours at Glint Salon

We are excited to announce that Glint Salon now has a new phone number for requesting appointments! You can now call or text us at (866)963-2073, and our automated system will guide you through the process of making an appointment. We recommend bookmarking this number for future use, so you can easily reach us whenever you need our services.

I wanted to send you a quick update on our holiday schedule at Glint Salon. Just a reminder that we will be closed on Christmas Day and the day after, December 26th. However, we will be back in business from December 27th to the 29th, so you can still book your appointments during that time. Please note that we will be closed on New Year's Day as well. But don't worry, we will reopen on January 2nd with our normal operating hours. Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to serving you in the coming year!

Fall Updates at Glint

Happy Fall y'all! This is such a fun time of year, with spooky season leading into the holidays and the weather getting cozy. I thought it was a great time to check in with everyone. The salon has been busy getting those summer locks all glossed up for the fall.

Happenings

Holiday Bookings:
Appointments under an hour are now back online! This much loved option is back after being removed due to the pandemic. Feel free to book your short or medium length haircut request right online. Click the images above!
As always please note ALL appointment requests are subject to a quick review by me to ensure the time is appropriate for you and the salon.
Please also note that preferred times are booking up already as the holiday approaches and to book now for your spot.

Path to Trichologist:
I am beyond excited to share that in November I will start the journey towards becoming a Trichologist. Which by definition is a person who specializes in the hair and scalp; and the diseases and conditions that can affect them. My first step is getting my certification as a Hair Loss Prevention Practitioner and will be certified by the AMCA. This training will allow me to more fully diagnose and treat common scalp and hair loss issues. I know this is very relatable to many of my guests. If you have friends who struggle in this way I would appreciate the referral as I grow this part of my business.
Watch for an updated service menu that will feature scalp therapies and analysis, as well as regular service menu add-ons. All to enhance your current hair appointment.

Halo Couture:
Another exciting addition to Glint Salon is the addition of Halo Couture a low maintenance offering for those interested in extensions without some of the hassles that accompany traditional extensions. These 100% ethically sourced human hair wefts are a wonderful option to fill thin hair, give volume or add for formal styling.

Vacation:
Lastly I will be on a short break traveling out of town from Oct 28th returning to the salon Nov 3rd. This will be my only time off before the holiday season begins. So feel free to book online! Thank you so much and I look forward to seeing you all this fall!

Glint Salon Spring Happenings

Spring is my favorite time of year! Everything is blooming and the weather is returning to warmth, tempered by cool evenings and mornings. Simply the best in my humble opinion.

I wanted to reach out quickly with a few happenings in the salon. We all have felt and seem to be receiving numerous emails of providers and companies rising costs and passing them to consumers. I too have had ALL of my vendors do multiple price increases this year alone. I have resisted raising my prices in certain areas to help stop the out of control pressure we all are feeling.
That said my rewards program has been temporarily stopped. It was a fairly costly investment for me and I enjoyed offering it. For now it is not a wise choice for Glint. I will keep it in mind in the future when I hope the economy will stabilize.
I do have a great referral program in place that I would love for you to promote. I have always valued and appreciated your word of mouth referrals!

Vacation

I will be having family in town the last week of June 26-30th and will be out of the salon that week.

I will be in the salon the following week except for the July 4th holiday.
I do not have other vacation plans until possibly Sept. So feel free to book with me throughout the summer months.

Davines SU

SU is the wildly popular sun protection line by Davines. This is a great month to kick off sales of this product. We will have the hair milk in travel and full sizes to protect your hair from damaging UV/UVB rays. Don't forget my brunettes, that your hair is susceptible just the same....can we say orange? I will also have travel sizes of the hair and body washes, perfect to throw in a beach bag or keep by the outdoor shower at the beach. Custom orders for full sizes of any of this line are gladly accepted.

Appointments

As we get into the summer months and plans adjust or change I ask that you think of giving as much notice as possible for rescheduling. I will also continue sending occasional text blasts to last minute appointments as I routinely hear positive feedback for this announcement.
