Stockings of Joy
Stockings of Joy benefits local Elders in our Community in need of a little extra joy during the holiday season.
Items are collected and stockings are decorated in November, and stockings are stuffed and distributed in December.

We want to take a moment to thank everyone who participated in Stockings of Joy this year! We enjoyed getting in the holiday spirit and making creative stockings with you all. Your stockings will surely serve to brighten someone's day!
After counting all of the votes, we can say it was a very close race. The winner is ... *drum roll* ... Stocking B, made by Jen Cacioppo! Congratulations, Jen-- your stocking's snowman was a fan favorite!
A special thank you to the other three creative and admirable finalists! We wish a joyous holiday season to all 🎄

Teresa and I were very happy to support Santa (and the Homewatch CareGivers Team!) to support their annual Stockings Of Joy gift drive for underserved seniors in our community. Special thanks to Anne Browning from HCG for her tireless efforts!
What an amazing day with even more amazing people! We stuffed almost 1000 stockings for deserving seniors in our community! We could never do it without so many volunteers giving of their time and talent!
We’re still at the Cary Senior Center until 3:00 and have lots less to stuff! Come on out and help if you can!
