July 12: With the rain expected today, our campers will be inside the building, which may make our facility more crowded and noisy than you are accustomed. Our open gym schedule will also be affected. Thank you for your understanding as we accommodate our youngest members.

YMCA of the Triangle Area (YOTA) Swim Team is the Y's competitive swim team and your next step in the pool. YOTA competes among 3,000 other USA Swimming programs in the US and is consistently ranked as one of the top swim programs in the nation. YOTA focuses on developing swimmers from beginners to then competing on a national stage, while also developing strong character built upon the YMCA core values. YOTA Swim Team The YMCA of the Triangle YOTA Swim Team is a competitive swim team that focuses on teamwork, sportsmanship and achievement.

The Dunkin’ Cruiser visited the Y this afternoon to share free samples of coffee and lemonade to staff, our middle and high school campers, and members! It was also Hat Day at Camp Rising Sun, if you notice any cool hats in these photos. It was a fun way to appreciate our awesome staff who work so hard everyday!

Please note, Saturday, June 15 our pool complex will be closed for a summer swim meet. The main pool, toddler pool, splash pad and slide will be closed until 2 p.m. for the meet. The lower Oasis Pool will be open for lap swim and aqua fitness. Thank you for your understanding as we support our swim team. Our team hosts 3 swim meets each summer. Our last home meet will be July 27.

Mark your calendar for a Juneteenth Celebration at the Taylor Family Y pool on Wed., June 19 starting at 4:30 p.m. We will have live music performed by our members, black-owned food trucks, popsicles, bingo and Juneteenth themed trivia. We hope you can join us!

Our Locker Rooms will soon receive new epoxy flooring! Beginning June 10 our Adult Locker Room showers, steam rooms, saunas and toilets will be closed while the project is completed. Members may use first floor bathrooms during this time. Work completion date expected: June 15th.
