Together on Center Stage (TOCS) is now a program of the Holly Springs Civitan Club. This inclusive theater initiative brings together people of all abilities and learning styles who work together to create a show - always providing lessons on Tolerance, respect, and humility!
You all know that I run a theater program for special needs individuals. I started this years ago in NJ. One of the first
participants was Patrice Jetter. An incredible women of color who just amazed us with her talents. Irene and I
call her our adopted daughter!
Two years ago, Patrice and her boyfriend Gary had a “commitment” ceremony. I was supposed to walk her down the aisle They can’t get married because
they would lose their benefits!!! And soooooo,
Ted Passon, an acclaimed producer and film maker made a a movie with Patrice - - - Patrice: The Movie! It opened today on Hulu!!
Tomorrow, Tuesday October. 1st, Patrice will be on The VIEW, and Wednesday morning she’ll be on Good Morning America.
Patrice the movie premiered at the Topronto Film Festival and then the Camden Film Festival in Maine. It has received fabulous reviews.
I spoke to Patrice today and she’s very excited. Watch the movie and then tell your friends!!!
