Another very happy client receiving cupping with her Acupuncture treatment.

These are stationary glass cups, used here to relax her tight muscles and soothe the nervous system.

These were left in place for 5 minutes, under the heat lamp, and with White Flower Oil.

Here are two TCM prescription go-to’s for helping keep my cold, flu, or asthma-proned clients OUT of the doctor’s office this time of year:
(these are GREAT for kids too!)

Yu Ping Feng San- this formula is great to strengthen Lung Qi, preventing the onset of Colds and Flu, before sickness sets in. Best taken as a preventative and to keep asthma at bay.

Astragalus (Huang Qi)- this single herb is very powerful to tonify the Lungs and fight off bacterial infections that cause URI's. This can also be taken as a preventative, especially if there is a history of recurring colds and flu. It also acts like and herbal antibiotic.

Throwback to 2014!!!
Sporting the white coat, finishing my 2-year medical internship in the clinic. I have learned SO much in my journey as an Acupuncturist & Herbalist! From the 5 YEARS in TCM Medical School (just a year away from a PhD!) to the continuing education courses over the last decade, and ALL of the personal growth and experiential learning along the way. My speciality areas have grown over the years and now include pain management, Fertility (for both women AND men), Quantum Healing & Esoteric Acupuncture, migraines, allergies, anxiety/ depression, autoimmune disorders, arthritis, sports injury recovery, and too much more to list. Our Story

After growing up in Charleston, SC and then venturing to UGA for undergraduate school, I decided to chase my dreams in the Rocky Mountains of Idaho for 12 years. Then I relocated to Hawaii, and I lived there for 3 years before coming back to the southeast in 2010, where I would spend a decade in the Appalachian Mountains. It was there, in Asheville, where I became a licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist. After practicing for 6 years there, I decided to make a move back home, to the Ocean.

I decided to come back to my birthplace in the Lowcountry, and I have joined Seaside Acupuncture, in Mount Pleasant.

My love of both mountains and the ocean lead me to pick the name “Mountains to Sea” many years ago. And I have always loved hiking on various parts of the Mountains To Sea Trail in NC. On my own, personal journey, I have always experienced the most healing from being in the mountains and the ocean. I want to share what I have learned during my travels and help others recognize their gifts, strengths, and capabilities to profoundly heal.
