SHE’S READY FOR SANTA! Her TV show is ready for broadcast on Christmas Day, she’s been in parades, she hasn’t destroyed the Christmas tree and she loves Christmas ham (when it falls off the counter)! Bosun is the star, I’m just here to support her. Lol

OPENING DAY THIS SATURDAY! December 2nd is the first day for Snowshoe Mountain to open for the 2023-24 ski/board season! It’s limited to start because of the warm temps but hopefully they can add some natural snow next Tuesday. I can’t wait to head up there this year, I already have my long weekend booked!

THAT’S A WRAP! After our final stop in Nashville at the Ryman Auditorium, we’re ready to sleep in our own beds! After 9 days on the road and 2,650+ miles plus one dead buck that we destroyed 25 miles into our trip…we’re done. Yes, we’ll discuss the deer later. Lol.

ABOUT LAST NIGHT: I was walking through the Bass Pro Shops at the Pyramid and found this incredible MoonPie stand! It was like a little slice of beaven…all I needed was an RC Cola and my night would have been perfect!

MORNING NAP TIME…she’s worn out from doing absolutely nothing this morning. Lol. But she’s a great travel partner. She attracts all the “chicks”. 😂🤣🤷🏻‍♂️🐶🤠

TRAVELING IN STYLE: We made it to Memphis and the Bass Pro Shops at the Pyramid! This place is stunning and the Big Cypress Lodge is a great place to spend the night. We’re thrilled to be here!

TEXARKANA: It’s the only Post Office and Federal Courthouse with a state line that runs through the middle of it! Finished in 1933, it also sits in the middle of a street, that they had to reroute around the facility. Bosun seems to be quite happy splitting the difference. 😂🤠 Funny thing, Pat Simon has also broadcast LIVE from this same location!

We had a great time this morning! On to the next stop!

FORT WORTH STOCKYARDS! Of course I had to come here along with Bosun! Yes, I’ve always been a cowboy at heart. So we’ll start here this morning and then head east after the morning show!

PACKED AND READY! We’re ready…just one sleep and then we start our broadcast at 4:30am ET (3:30am central!) on Monday morning! Plus, we’ve got a very special place and more for the show. Bosun and I have to wake up at 11:45pm to make this happen…wish us luck! 😂🐶🤠

EDIT: They changed the schedule! The original schedule was emailed out earlier this month. Then they updated it on Tuesday of this week. 🙄

RUDOLPH IS ON TONIGHT! It’s a Black Friday (Nov 24th) special with “Rudolph the Red-Nose Reindeer” at 9pm EST on the CBS Television Network! Don’t miss it, it’s your only chance to see it this year!

IT’S HER BED: We’re posted up in a hotel and she’s already made herself at home! She moved the pillow and got snuggled in for some football! LOL.

DEALEY PLAZA: We’ll be here for the noon show to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the day that JFK was assassinated. Our corporate entity, NewsNation, is next to me in the white SUV. Lots of folks showing up to see where it all happened.

DOWNTOWN OKC: Love it … this virtually didn’t exist 25 years ago! The canal/riverwalk is fantastic and the ballpark is home of the BigXII baseball tournament! Bosun didn’t like the cold! Lol. On to the next stop which is very historic on this day!

PAYING RESPECT IN OKC: We’ve come to the memorial for all of those lost on April 16th, 1995. The time you see on the wall down there is 9:03am, the minute healing began.

I was in Oklahoma that day…I’ll never forget that feeling that washed over the state.

BASS PRO SHOPS WORLD HEADQUARTERS! It’s called “The Grandaddy of all Outdoor Stores” with 500,000 square feet of insanity! It’s awesome. 285 more miles to go before our next stop Wednesday morning!

ALL ABOUT TECHNOLOGY: Thanks to Stephens Auto Center…inverters in the truck allow me to charge all of my equipment while I’m in transit between different LIVE shot locations! Plus Starlink allows me to watch our broadcast signal on the TV with a Bluetti power pack. Along with 3 iPhones and 2 iPads I can broadcast and also watch our control signals. It’s crazy how it all works. It it’s so much fun!

HELLO ST. LOUIS! We’re broadcasting from the Memorial Mississippi Overlook across the river in Illinois! It’s chilly too!

LUNCH IN LOUISVILLE?!? Why not?! We’re traveling across the country and I’m next to the steamer Sternwheel boat Belle of Louisville!

Bosun is riding shotgun and is so excited that she hasn’t fallen asleep yet! LOL!

STARTING HERE: We’re outside the Mountain Health Arena in Huntington this morning. From here, we’ll keep going west! Bosun is sitting in the passenger seat. 😂🐶

HERE COMES THE COLD: I've been saying this for a while now! This is Thanksgiving through essentially the end of November. The bulk of the cold will be the week after Turkey Day! And yes, after Thanksgiving, our snow chances will be increasing. All of the global indicators are there for the chill to settle in to start December, and then we go mild for a couple of weeks. The long-range indications are that of a much stronger batch of cold air moving in somewhere around the Christmas timeframe.
