Two years ago, I met Edinson.
He came to the gym with a friend and wanted to lose weight and get healthy.
After we met, his friend told him that instead of joining our gym, they should work out together at their home with the equipment they had.
Three months ago, he reached out asking to meet again. He said that after we met, him and his friend worked out inconsistently for a month, then stopped. He's gained weight and wasn't feeling good.
He brought a different friend this time to meet with me.
I said, "Edinson, I'm not talking to you and your friend again. I'm not letting someone talk you out of this again. You need to make the decision to take care of yourself."
He agreed and they both decided to do personal training 3x/wk.
This time, his friend stopped after 2 months, however Edinson learned his lesson from last time and is continuing to show up.
He's consistently working on improving his nutrition and showing up for his personal training session.
In the last month, he's lost 12 pounds and 5% body fat, while also increasing his muscle mass.

"I want to tell you THANK YOU! When I first came to you for strength and endurance it was a little over a year ago. I was 71 years old.
Not strong; could walk but could not go up stairs without a handrail. I knew I needed help and so I turned to you on advice from my son Steven.☝
Fast forward to last week. I had the opportunity to meet some friends for a few days. I was flying but since it was just for three nights I just packed my backpack so I didn’t have to check luggage with the airline. I was able to lift it up, unassisted and put it in the overhead bin.
I was overwhelmed with happiness as I had so many people around me asking if they could help me with my luggage but I easily lifted it up and placed it in.
Then took it out of the bin with no effort as well. Then to my room, there were two steps up with no rail. I took those steps, with my backpack.
The smile on my face was wider than ever and I have you to thank! As I approach 73 I do so with confidence knowing that you have truly made a difference in the quality of my life.

This is Karen.
When I met her a few months ago, she wanted to start to make her health a priority and get stronger as she ages.
She was anxious and scared to start to exercise. She was afraid she'd look foolish in the gym.
