Chroma Projects is located on the Main Floor of Vault Virginia,
Entrance on 3rd Street S.E.,off the Downtown Mall in Charlottesville.

Beverly Ress has most recently been reinterpreting botanica with the same scientific scrutiny and focus, afloat on empty planes of white, that she has long applied to her ephemeral renderings of the bodies of birds, insects and other small vulnerable creatures. Manipulating her meticulous Rembrandt pencil drawings into sculpted environments involving cut and folded paper and translucent mylar, she directs the viewer's scrutiny onto these planes, as though they are altars or operating tables, to examine her delicate, fugitive subject matter.
