Splish, splash! It was a great day for the first Middle Primary Beach Day of the year! ⛱ Thank you to our parent volunteers for making it such a special afternoon. What a great way to kick off the long weekend!
We were all smiles at Parent Night last night! It was a night full of fun and information as our parents got to hear from school representatives, their child's teacher, and had the opportunity to socialize with one another. We 💙 our parents!
Simply stunning!
Today, our Upper Primary students partook in a Book Tasting! After creating menus and placemats about a book they read this summer, students were able to "taste" books their classmates read. We can't wait to see all of the books they devour and the writing they cook up this year!
Our students are making waves on the golf course! Last week, Adi '27 hit a hole-in-one in her Junior League interclub match at Council Fire Golf Club! Not only did she achieve a hole-in-one, she also accomplished a double eagle, which is when a golfer completes a hole three strokes under par. Unbelievable work, Adi!
Time for some fun in the sun! ☀️ Our Upper Primary students had their first Beach Day of the year! Special thanks to our amazing parent volunteers who helped set everything up today!
Connections Magazine is back and now available online! The magazine features alumni updates, our Annual Report, highlights our community service projects, and so much more! We are excited to have everyone on campus for Parents Night on Wednesday, August 28 at 6:30 pm. The evening will begin in the chapel before adjourning to visit your child's classrooms. There will not be any childcare available on campus during Parent Night.
Just another beautiful day on campus! 🌹
Last week, our Upper Primary students participated in their first STEM challenge of the year! Students worked in teams to build the tallest, free-standing balloon tower they could. We love seeing how creative our students can be!
We've had a great first week back at St. Nicholas! Our students got hands-on in the classroom, reconnected with friends, made some new friends, played, and so much more! We can't wait to see what the rest of the school year holds. Go Waves!
Spelling has never been so sweet! Our Level 3 students got to work on spelling using the letters from alphabet cookies! After they spelled as many words as they could, students got to munch on their cookies. How fun!
Today, we had our first chapel of the year! Our students, teachers, and parents talked about fresh starts, dove deeper into our yearly theme, and celebrated birthdays. We love having the opportunity to gather in chapel each morning!
It was another outstanding first day of school! We are so excited to start the 2024-2025 year! Let's make it a great one, Waves!
We had a very successful Registration Day today! It was great to see a lot of familiar faces back on campus and wonderful to welcome many new faces to campus. We can't wait for the first day of school tomorrow!
Our teachers are back and have been working hard to prepare for the first day of school! From meetings to classroom decoration, everyone excited to get the new school year started and making it another outstanding year! 📚✏️
Introducing our theme for the 2024-2025 academic year: We Can Be the Light! St. Nicholas is a place where students learn to let their light shine, to appreciate the light of others, and to do hard things with a lighthearted nature. We look forward to seeing how this theme takes shape throughout the year!

Picture perfect! Alumni Jamie Hayes '06 and his family were the featured family in the July edition of the Mountain Shadows neighborhood magazine, "Stroll"!
Our alumni are making waves in the music industry this summer! On June 29, Levi Williams '18 played guitar with BIAS on an original BIAS song, “I Need You”, at Riverfront Nights Chattanooga. Levi played in front of a crowd of 5,000 people. Great work, Levi!
