What an amazing week at GPS Summer Camp! Our campers had an absolute blast dressing up as Taylor Swift, embarking on exciting adventures and field trips around the city, enjoying delicious ice cream, and diving into fun science experiments. They also unleashed their creativity with fantastic art projects and so much more! Every day was packed with fun, learning, and unforgettable memories. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the summer holds! ✌️💙☀️

This rounds out the first half of GPS Summer Camp! There will be no camps in session next week due to the Fourth of July holiday, but we look forward to seeing our campers back on Monday, July 8!

A group of rising seventh- and eighth-graders returned from an eight-day adventure to Panama on Saturday! Some of their favorite activities included swimming and hiking in the rainforest, embarking on a boat tour and seeing native animals in their natural habitats, snorkeling in the Caribbean Sea, and visiting a local pineapple farm.
Ms. Tiffany Simms, history teacher, led the trip and said, "This was a magical experience considering it was most of the girls' first trip abroad and without their parents. It was absolutely spectacular and we all look forward to another trip similar to this one next summer!"
Oh, what a week it’s been!
Tea parties,
relays,
ropes courses,
and more,
we can’t wait for next week
to see what’s in store!

What a "tile-rific" time we had on Wednesday hosting alumnae for Mahjong at GPS! 🀄️✨ It was a "mah-velous" evening, and we loved seeing old friends reconnect! Thanks to everyone who joined us for this unforgettable evening, and a special thank you to GPS Trustee Jen Kline P'18, '19 and Ann Henley Perry P'25 for teaching the group the ins and outs of the game!

We wrapped up week one of camp in a big way today! With cheer routines, theater performances, breakout games, and—of course—water play, it was a great day to be a BRUISER!✌️💙☀️
Students returned yesterday from the trip of a lifetime! Through an elective, half-credit, summer course, students experienced French language immersion during two-and-a-half weeks of on-campus instruction and 10 days in Martinique.
An official overseas department of France with close proximity to the U.S., Martinique is an ideal location for American students of French to experience francophone culture! While there, students took French lessons and put them into practice as they toured the city of Fort-de-France, swam, shopped, cooked Creole food, and learned about the island’s history.

Our wonderful Class of 2030 completed their first year as GPS Bruisers today, and their talent was on display for family and friends! Guests visited campus for an interdisciplinary performance featuring vocal music, theater, and dance, then made their way to the gym for a global cultures fair, where groups of students represented different countries with interactive projects.
Each of these students has grown so much this year, and we can't wait to see what next year has in store!
