We are thrilled to announce that the Tilth Alliance has generously provided us with a grant to establish an 11-acre permaculture fruit, nut, and berry orchard on our property. This project has been a dream of ours for a long time, and we are incredibly grateful for the support that has made it possible.
The timing couldn't be more perfect with all the recent rain we've been getting. The newly planted trees are soaking up the moisture and beginning to take root in their new home. It's a beautiful sight to see and we can't wait to see how this orchard flourishes in the years to come.
Thank you to the Tilth Alliance for believing in our vision and helping us make it a reality. We are excited to continue working with them and other partners to create a sustainable and thriving ecosystem on our land. Stay tuned for updates on the progress of our orchard!
We've got a new addition to the Vale Creek family - a Hereford Wagyu cross cow! She's already stealing hearts with her adorable little moo. Swing by and say hi to our newest member!

Sunday afternoon fires have become some of our favorite times here on the farm. The farm needs a lot of clean up before spring, and fires are a great way to bring our family together and take care of branches from clearing the forest for the fence.
Check out our latest fence installation video. It's coming together, slowly but surely.
