It is with a heavy heart that we announce that Shang Noodle & Asian Small Plates at 1101 S Wabash Avenue will be permanently closing. Unfortunately, unforeseen business changes have made remaining open no longer viable, and as a result, our final day of service will be on Saturday, June 15, 2024.
We want to thank all our loyal regulars and the South Loop area for welcoming us into the neighborhood and supporting us these last two-and-a-half years. We also want to thank our amazing kitchen and waitstaff for working so hard to make Shang a success.
While this particular location is closing, Shang Noodle as a whole continues to thrive, and we hope our patrons will continue to visit us at our Shang Noodle Streeterville location at 215 E Grand Avenue. We also encourage our patrons to visit our sister restaurant, Niu B Sushi & Noodle Bar, located in the South Loop at 888 S Michigan Avenue. Both of these restaurants offer similar lunch, dinner, and cocktail options, including some of our most popular dishes, and we hope our regulars will feel just as welcome and at-home there as they do at our current location.
