#4 - Send the letter/video! Be sure to bcc (blind copy) everyone so you're not spewing out everyone's contact info. Take note of the date you do this (you'll do it again in a few weeks). When people make a donation, highlight their name on your list so that you don't email them again (if you ask for a donation after they've given, you're spamming!).

TIP #3: Write a kick-a$$ letter or make a kick-a$$ video to help your peeps understand why donating to the walk is so important. Include a quick-fact like many people, especially women, remain undiagnosed and suffer needlessly because they are unaware of the signs of a bleeding disorder. Say what it's like when you get a bleed. Talk about how money raised will help BDAI provide education to help people with bleeding disorders avoid debilitating complications and live longer, more active, and healthier lives and conduct advocacy initiatives at local and national levels to help ensure access to medical care and equitable insurance for all. Just get started!

Good morning! It's another gorgeous day to think about the walk! Now that you've registered your team (and if you haven't, you can do so any time now), open up a Word or Excel (or any writing or spreadsheet) doc and make a list of the names and emails of everyone you know. I like to make columns for different groups of people (e.g., family, work, neighbors, friends from whatever activity). Don't be afraid to add people. You never know who will donate. We've seen large donations from people who were not particularly close to the person who asked, but they gave simply because they were asked to give! So...
