I remember 10 months ago when we first started our breastfeeding journey —
I would nurse at home,
or in a bedroom,
or in the car.

I bought so many covers and tried to discreetly feed her in public.
I was hyper-aware of those around me and constantly felt like I was being judged.

But my baby was hungry and my b***s had the milk.

Adeline hated being covered, and I hated segregating myself in order to feed my baby.
Slowly I started getting the courage to stay in the living room at my parents’ while nursing,
to only cover while latching and then remove it,
to now, literally feeding my baby whenever and wherever she is hungry.

No more hot cars,
No more missed family gatherings,
No more worrying about the opinions of others.

While it may seem uncomfortable at first, I promise you —
