The Wednesday Food Pantry at St. Paul and the Redeemer Church at 50th and Dorchester will be closing from August through October. Wednesday July 31 will be the last Food Pantry for the summer. Operations will resume Wednesday November 6, 2024. Please share this information with anyone this impacts.

Learn about the science behind "Elemental" on July 24 when UChicago's Materials Research Science and Engineering Center hosts interactive demos with air cannons and dry ice.
Hosted by the Office of Civic Engagement in partnership with the Chicago Park District, Movies on the Midway returns on Wednesdays this year, starting Wednesday, July 10 and wrapping up Wednesday, August 7. Each week, attendees can enjoy a free movie and interactive programming for the entire family. All activities will take place starting at 7 p.m. at 1130 Midway Plaisance, between Ellis and University avenues. Movies start at sunset.
