It’s not that time.🎥

Ready now why wait?
I remember my old math teacher in high school once told me “You are not meant for the real world if you can’t understand this lesson”. Well, I didn’t understand that lesson and I’m still here “in the real world”.
-
No matter what upbringing or where you came from we all deal with adversity. It doesn’t matter where you are at in life you always face some problems. In 2019 I was humbled by eating sh*t in different areas of business. I had it all in align and nearly lost it all. What I learned was these moments and periods are apart of business. The outcome is all dependent on how you respond to the waves. Do you blame others while losing? Do you change routine just get away from your daily tasks? Do you struggle to hold yourself accountable? If so, you are denying accountability for your current situation.
-
I’ve learned through the sh*t all it takes is a smile. A smile through the pain knowing there’s light. A smile symbolizes positivity to others, and if you do it long enough, start to smile naturally. If you can still be positive during times of sh*t I promise you, your time will come. I’ve seen it for myself and others.

So many lessons and humbling moments this year. I will leave out details, but this has been the most challenging year I have ever encountered. These lessons have created a version of myself I thought I could never achieve.
•
You would never know what a win would feel like without a loss. You would never know what being rich feels like if you were never broke. You would never know what happiness is without the dark times.
•
•
This year I learned that you will never grow without killer commitment. The type of commitment that can hurt you without following through. This year I went through every emotion. I held many commitments, but I lost a lot too. That will happen, but the only way to overcome is to not react. When I used to react I turned to aggression and a victim mentality. I turned to fight against everyone else that I thought was in my way.
•
In 2019 I was too close to myself to see clearly enough that I was in my own way. This time around I will still be fighting. Except this fight will be for my dreams.
•
Keep writing.
Gotta move smarter, gotta mover harder. Tired of being quiet.

This concept was super random but it worked on my LinkedIn. My friend and I were working on content and we thought it be funny to talk while going down an escalator. As you can tell I am laughing the whole time. At the end of the day having a good time will keep you moving forward.
-
-
I will never sell you a course, or something I can’t have any fun doing. It’s doing new concepts like this that will keep your creative flow 💭 going.
-
Side note- if you want help designing your bio just message me. I am certainly not the best example, but I do know the industry. Do I make these escalator talks a weekly thing?

We take ourselves too seriously..

I was so fixated in prior years about having a certain appearance online.
•
•
“Make sure you have the right angle.”
•
•
“That’s not my good side. Can you take 5 more?”
•
•
“Oh what about the lighting over here?”
•
•
Maybe you are guilty of this attempt at perfection too? Once I realized that being an IG model wasn’t the ideal path(😂) I switched it up.
•
•
I got more real. I told you what was really going on in my life. I strive to not sugarcoat and tell you I’m not in the trenches.
•
•
I have started from ground zero multiple times, but I’ve always picked myself up. You can do that by supportive people who know the REAL you.
•
•
Don’t be afraid to be yourself. At the end of the day, isn’t that makes you unique?

The truth is often the most hard pill to swallow.
-
The intention behind this post is for all the creators making an excuse not to create. My love for every single one of you is in my words here. You can create for yourself!
-
When I learned how open this space is, and how many people were talking everything changed. There’s so much room for you here on social! Don’t but into the saturation mindset. The mindset that chains you down to not creating because of a market.
-
Be yourself, and attract an audience through your originality.
-
People will always see the outcome, but never the income you put in.

The best business leaders in the world have the most awkward first interviews.
•
•
I started on Facebook live two years ago with a topic I had no clue about. I looked down at my notes, and I even made up words that didn’t exist. I still make up words that don’t exist while recording.
•
I’ve done over 100+ live videos in the span of two years and I’m still not great on camera. It takes dedication, but it takes you starting.
•
•
Don’t let someone else tell you that it can be solved in 24 hours because it can’t. It takes humiliation, self-assurance, and persistence to put yourself on social media.
•
•
Everyone is here to judge you. The only question is, is who is keeping score? That is you my friend.
•
YOU are the one who is second guessing that caption. You are the one that is second guessing your podcast. You are the one second guessing your 10 second story. It’s all you keeping score.
•
•
Lose the scoreboard in your life, and it will make bu****it step aside.

When the creative spark ⚡️ hits 😂
•
•
I’ve recently got the question of “How do you not burn out when creating?”
•
•
My simple response is, “I never run out of material to talk about”. If you are somebody that genuinely practices what you preach, it’s very hard to put the brakes on. Overall, wouldn’t you want to squeeze every inch of potential out of your head? Especially if you feel inspired in a given moment?
•
•
I still need to be creating way more than I am currently. 10x more. The way I deal with burnout is by sparking the fire again some other way. It never will die out if I keep giving it fuel to flourish.
•
•
Let me know your thoughts on this spark, and how you dealt with burning out?

Your business is not a human.
••
One of the lessons I’ve learned is that your business should not have an emotional attachment, but people should.
People are the only emotional. If something isn’t working you must change it fast, and not blame anyone or get angry in the moment.
•
•
Often then not I see creators get offended when their client doesn’t like their work. Art is a reflection of your own eyes, but that doesn’t mean everyone likes your eyes.
•
•
The ability to adapt in business will ensure your success in the long run and overall create happier relationships.
•
•
Keep growing, what’s something you’ve recently got unattached from?
I made an oath on my LinkedIn the other day to go in the opposite direction of everyone on Instagram. So here it goes,
•
•
•
I am still in college. I do have debt. Small but there.
•
I am an entrepreneur who hasn’t made it yet, and have failed majorly many times and hurt relationships as an outcome of it. I lost my clients three months ago, and I am still rebuilding.
•
I do work for a corporate company, and I do work 40 hours a week.
•
I am inconsistent on my channel because I have a huge insecurity of staying relevant.
•
I have acted like I have it all figured out because someone once told me “Fake it till you make it”, and then I got put on my ass.
•
•
I don’t live in a penthouse or have my own studio yet. I work out of my apartment and built the studio in my room.
•
•
I’ve been called the connector by people because I make sure I bring them to the right people. Little do people know, but my biggest fear in life is dying alone.
•
•
I make this post not for your sympathy, or for your recognition. I make this post for myself to release all the pent up feelings and truths about my life.
•
•
I don’t care if you want to unfollow me, or talk behind me. I care about real in my life, and I am going straight through that direction for my time and rest of my life on social media.
•
•
Let’s join together. To something bigger than ourselves, and start being ourselves.
•
•
Follow my journey.. as I figure it out, like you. Oh, and my mom bought me that Oakley hat as a gift. She’s the best lol.
When I was 10 years old I had a dream of playing in the NBA.
•
•
I admired Michael Jordan. On the court I mocked all his moves and angles. I even read all his books and biographies. I wanted that extra inch over any of my competitors. That dream was short lived due to that extra inch😂
•
•
•
Although, what I thought I wanted at 10 was not what I really wanted. What I loved about Jordan was how he was able to move people without any effort. Jordan jumped, the crowd would jump. Jordan wore Nike, so everyone started to wear Nike. Jordan always had a demand for his own personal appearance.
•
•
What I want for everyone is what Jordan had. A full crowd screaming your name. An arena full of loving supporters who were just like little Andrew at ten years old.
•
•
That tool to get there is in your hands, it’s social media. Use it to your advantage while we are growing exponentially. It just might come in handy one day.
•
I’ll be honest..
•
Posting this rejection challenge has been on the back burner for about a month. The honest reason was I was scared of what people thought.
•
Finishing this challenge has helped me turn a new chapter on my life.
•
30 days straight full of rejections and getting humiliated something to you.

What did I learn?

The number question I always get is “When do I know when to charge?”
•
•
The answer is always what’s benefit you’re receiving, or going to receive.
•
•
There should only be two returns if you’re doing work for free. Either you’re learning a ton that will set you up for the next ten years, or you’re getting referrals monthly.
•
•
Bottom line is, nobody wants to work for free. Don’t be afraid to charge!

On the Road to your dreams this is what you’ll find.
•
•
1. Most of the people you thought were friends will switch on you. Even if they’re your “bro’s”. This is normal.
2. A lot of people talk more than they act. Be mindful of your circle ⭕️ and observe them on their perseverance and results.
3. You will have to sacrifice more than you think. You can’t live a normal life if you choose the untraditional path.
4. When you’re moving there will be people who will throw garbage advice at you. Keep older mentors close.
5. Support is everything. Don’t let anyone in your circle that doesn’t supports you. That goes for family too. It’s the number one imperative in my book, and it’s been a blessing so far.
•
•
I felt compelled to share this because I have went through and witnessed all of this. It’s not just a new year, it’s a new day.
•
•

REMEMBER WHY YOU STARTED...
•
•
It was nearly two years ago when when we embarked on a journey to create.
•
•
Endless hours on the road. Countless sleepless nights of editing and preparation. Bank accounts negative from purchasing equipment. I was rejected by 90% of the entrepreneurs I asked to interview.
•
No matter how much sacrifice we made, nothing can come close to how much these men made. None of what I am doing now would be possible without them. The most notable I love you like a brother. No amount of money can ever repay the impact you played in my life.
•
•
•
I won’t get too sentimental, but I just want to leave this here. You’re circle will only grow when you grow yourself. Nobody owes you a dime, and in order to build it sometimes comes with a cost. You choose the amount.
•
•
2019 it’s time to boss up.
