It's Thursday, and we are Getting to Know HSG, with Treasurer Evan Sully! Evan is a sophomore majoring in Finance. Evan calls Frisco, Texas home and is most looking forward to doing his best to get funding for HSG events such as the Honors Ball and Ice Skating. First, Meet our President Tom Rietz! Tom is a Junior, double majoring in Political Science and Economics. Tom reigns from Plainfield, Illinois and when asked what he was most looking forward to for this year, he said The Honors Ball! Aside from his duties with HSG, Tom is a resident advisor in Belden-Racine and formerly interned at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs. Meet Tom!

Honors Program Heart Walk Team 10/03/2016

On Friday, September 30, 2016, 25 Honors Program students took part in the annual Heart Association's Heart Walk along the lakefront. Despite an overcast grey day, the team raised over $825 and enjoyed walking with the team.

We would like to thank everyone who came out to our first Honors Student Government meeting of the academic school year.

Going with this years Honors Program theme, "What must be done?", those who attended the meeting participated in a poster making contest. Groups of students depicted the theme using a quote accompanied by a picture.

The finished products are below, please "like" the one you enjoy the most! The poster with the most "likes" will be deemed the winner. The "likes" will be tallied, and the winning poster will be announced at the next Honors Student Government Meeting (9/23 @ 12:30)!
