The Men of Taqwa (M.O.T.) honored the Mothers of Taqwa with a Mother’s Day Dinner, Friday evening. The sisters waited at their tables while we served their meals, and then offered a short program. Brother Yunus blessed the gathering with a few songs , and Brother Shams followed with an original composition by his father. And Brother Bashir offered a reflection and a poem.

And breaking with tradition we had two of our sisters offer presentations, Sr. Jennah, and Sr. Donna Demir.
