✨AAPI Month Asian American Caucus Spotlight: Alderwoman Nicole Lee ✨

Alderwoman Nicole Lee is a Chicago native, representing the 11th Ward. She is the first Chinese American elected to the City Council and the first Asian American to represent Chinatown.

With strong community ties, Lee is dedicated to improving the future for all residents of the 11th Ward. She has been actively involved in various local organizations, including the University of Illinois Chicago Asian American Advisory Council, the Asian Giving Circle, OCA Chicago, the Chinese Mutual Aid Association, and the Chicago Dragon's Athletic Organization.

The AMOA of MOCNI would like to thank the Asian American Caucus for their hard work and dedication to communities around the state of Illinois with a few spotlights to acknowledge some history makers.
