Two food icons lead 2024 Taste of Chicago: Lou Malnati's & Eli's Cheesecake Lou Malnati's and Eli's Cheesecake are two food icons who will lead the 2024 Taste of Chicago this weekend in Grant Park

National Cheesecake Day 2024 was a hit! ICYMI, here’s what happened:

•We teamed up with 4th generation to create a limited-edition Cannoli Cheesecake and gave away free slices in the West Loop! You can grab a slice at JPG, Eli’s Cheesecake World, or have it shipped straight to your door at elicheesecake.com.
•It was a celebration all weekend long at Eli’s Cheesecake World with 44 cent slices, cheesecake bingo, and more!
•Big Slice was reunited with bestie, Scoopie, from Six Corners, where we sampled our Cheesecake Cubies (an inclusion you can add to your next concrete mixer!).

Holy cannoli! What better way to celebrate National Cheesecake Day than by collaborating with the legendary Chicago business, ! Introducing: Cannoli Cheesecake! 🍰🍒

We took JPG’s perfect cannoli and turned it into a cheesecake! Creamy ricotta is added to Eli’s famous Chicago-style cheesecake, with candied orange peel and bittersweet chocolate chips, all baked on a cannoli crumb crust. Our talented cake decorators, Ivanna and Diego, worked tirelessly to turn Anish Kapoor’s Cloud Gate into an edible masterpiece. After the ceremonial cut, we handed out 1,000 slices to Chicagoans and visitors! We wish you could have BEAN there! 🌆🎂❤️

These dedicated students participate in roasting, packaging, and marketing certified organic, fair trade beans sourced from small family farms in Central and South America.
