Personal PAC
Personal PAC is a nonpartisan political action committee dedicated to protecting and advancing reproductive rights for all women in Illinois.
Reproductive rights are currently facing an unprecedented attack. Anti-choice candidates and legislation, on both the state and national level, are threatening to dangerously restrict and deny access to safe and legal abortions as well as access to birth control.
The anti-choice movement is creative and tenacious, and they’re not going to give up, so we can’t either. Thanks, Editorial Board, for weighing in on the need for IL to stay a step ahead and ensure reproductive freedom.
Productive Saturday! Step one of enforcement of the Noise Sensitive Zone Ordinance is now implemented. ✅
Thank you Ald. Conway, City of Chicago and .dot for helping to protect patients and providers!

Well said, Lt. Governor Juliana Stratton!
Abortion access is inseparable from the full spectrum of maternal healthcare. All families, no matter their income level, should be able to access the care they need throughout pregnancy, birth and postpartum!
The Birth Equity Initiative is critical to dismantling systemic barriers and ensuring equitable access to healthcare for women in Illinois.
Thank you, Governor JB Pritzker, for proposing $23M in the FY25 budget to put us on a path to birth equity.
Thank you to , , and for your work on this crucial piece of legislation. On to the Senate!
Congratulations to all of our Personal PAC endorsed candidates who were successful in their races tonight! We cannot wait to work with you in office!

Personal PAC members attended the sentencing to show their support for the clinic owner, as she read her moving victim impact statement.
The clinic, located on the border with Indiana in Danville, Illinois will serve individuals who have been stripped of their reproductive freedom by Indiana’s complete abortion ban once the clinic opens.

Today we marked the anniversary of Roe v. Wade with a forward looking conversation led by and . We heard from many of our state’s incredible abortion providers and birth workers on what is needed in the post-Roe era to provide evidence-based, compassionate, empowering care to all who need it.
Kate Cox, who faces pregnancy complications and sued the state of Texas for access to an abortion, has left the state to get the procedure.
This latest case in Texas makes it abundantly clear that abortion is healthcare. Elected judges and officials in Texas are cruelly denying urgently needed healthcare to people every single day. This is why we must work every election, every cycle to protect abortion rights at the state and local level.
While the state where the procedure will take place will not be disclosed, we are proud of the work we’ve done to make Illinois a haven for women like Kate.
As fighters for abortion rights, we feel it's important to share resources for those who've had abortions. Our friends over at Chicago Abortion Fund are hosting free "Post-Abortion Community Circles." Please share with your friends and family:

Chicago Abortion Fund A Home Here Post-Abortion Community Circles December: Talking About Abortion (While Protecting Your Peace!)
December 12th at 7:30PM CST
Circles are intentionally curated to be inclusive, supportive, and open, without any judgment. This space is only for people who have had abortions – whether they had an abortion recently or decades ago. All gender identities are welcome. Each month, we collectively check in, engage in mindfulness/meditation practices, and participate in a facilitated discussion to share our experiences (or just listen!) as we build connections and widen abortion narratives. Circles welcome all who have had abortions, not just CAF grantees.
A Home Here: Post Abortion Community Circles A Home Here is a space for people to feel safe and at home within themselves to speak about their experiences with abortion care.
Thank you to everyone who came to our Friendsgiving Potluck. This holiday season, we here at Personal PAC are grateful for our amazing Danville Chapter.
