"Our experience with dining at the Channel Bass restaurant was fantastic. Great experience having a five course meal. The soup served was crab bisque. It was served piping hot with loads of crab. We had appetizers of both shrimp cocktail and a savory onion scone. The salad was crisp and flavorful. The main course was served with saffron rice, Parmesan brussels sprouts and drum fish serves with a Cajun shrimp sauce. We also had a New York strip that was done to perfection. Our dessert was out of this world. Everything is made from scratch and cooked to perfection. The service is exceptional at the Channel Bass restaurant. Last but not least was the wine selection. What can I say? We opted for a bottle of a bottle of French Chardonnay, that was probably one of the best wines I’ve tasted in years."

"It felt as though someone was in kitchen cooking for me. The food was terrific and the service was impeccable. The wine was excellent. Reservations required. One thing to remember, every night the menu is different. The night we were there it was barbequed pork chops or snapper. Both were perfectly prepared. Dinner is prix fixed and changes every night. So 5 courses and you only choose the main. So, soup, appetizer, salad and dessert. Back to the wine list, there is wine by the glass or or a bottle from the great wine list. Enjoy."

As a restauranteur, it’s difficult to find time to get out to sample our island friends great operations. Today, we found a few minutes to visit Shark & Manders. Wow, what a great lunch we had! The quality is top notch. We tried the new Brooklyn, cheesesteak and burger with Swiss and Mushrooms. Topped it off with freshly cut French fries that can feed a family. Check them out, you will not be disappointed! Thanks for the great lunch!
